About Allison
Allison is a Licensed Massage Therapist who has truly found her calling with this work. She always knew her path was to help others but after graduating with a Bachelor's in Psychology she wasn't sure what that looked like.

Fast forward a few years and she found herself working in a Doctor's office still struggling with the chronic back pain that started when she was 17. Luckily, she was in the right place, as the doctors she worked for specialized in treating pain through hands on techniques. This opened Allison's eyes to the world of fascia while being pain-free for the first time in 6 years.
Having always been interested in bodywork, Allison eventually found John Barnes Myofascial Release. The Barnes philosophy flawlessly combines many of the elements she enjoyed about psychology from Peter Levine's Somatic Experiencing to Van Der Kolk's The Body Keeps the Score.

Since, Allison graduated top of her class from Advanced Massage Therapeutics specializing in deep tissue and trigger point therapy. As well, she has attended five Barnes seminars, worked with a mentor that has 20+ years of experience in MFR, and plans to take all of the remaining seminars at least once.
